Pricing & Reservations

At Rising Sun Campground, we offer affordable rates for camping, river fun, and more all in one spot!

Campsite Rates:

• Electric & Water Sites:

• $40 per night on non-holiday weekends

• $47 per night on holiday weekends (3 night minimum)

• Rates include 2 adults and kids under the age of 17

• Primitive Campsites:

• $30 per night on non-holiday weekends

• $34 per night on holiday weekends (3 night minimum)

• Rates include 2 adults and kids under the age of 17

• $10 per night for kids tents

Guest Fees:

• $5 per adult per day

• $10 per adult for overnight stays

Policies

• Check-In: 2 PM (Eastern Time)

• Check-Out: 1 PM (Eastern Time)

• Early Check-In Fee: $10

• Golf Carts: $5 per day

• Quiet Time: 11pm Eastern Time

 Seasonal Sites:

• Start at $1,700 per season, plus electric.

 Campground Policies

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review and adhere to our campground policies:

1. No Refunds for Acts of Nature

• We do not issue refunds due to weather or other natural occurrences.

2. No Glass Bottles

• Glass bottles are prohibited on the property for safety reasons.

3. Illegal Substances

• The use or possession of illegal substances is strictly prohibited. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

4. Alcohol & Behavior

• Excessive drinking and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Please respect your fellow campers and their right to a peaceful stay. Quiet time is 11PM eastern time.

5. Fireworks, Firearms & Bows

• Fireworks, firearms, and bows are not allowed on the property at any time.

• Tube Rental: $25 per person

• Kayak Rental: $35 each

• Canoe Rental: $45 each

• Cooler Tube Rental: $20 each

• Personal Equipment Transport: $15 per vessel

Float Trips on the Tippecanoe River

Discover the beauty of the Tippecanoe River with our self-guided float trips! Whether you're looking for a peaceful float or an exciting adventure, we have options for everyone. We shuttle you up river in one of our buses and you float right back to the beach in Primitive!

Tube Float Trips

• Duration from Monterey: Approximately 5-6 hours (will vary some depending on the river)

• Duration from Railroad Bridge: Approximately 1.5-2 hours (will vary some depending on the river)

• Experience: Relax and enjoy the gentle current as you float in a comfortable tube. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind on the water.

• Price: $25 per person

Kayak Trips

• Duration: Approximately 3 hours (will vary some depending on the river)

• Experience: Explore the river at your own pace in a single kayak. Paddle through scenic waterways and enjoy up-close views of local wildlife.

• Price: $35 per kayak

Canoe Trips

• Duration: Approximately 3 hours (will vary some depending on the river)

• Experience: Ideal for 2-3 people, our canoes provide a classic river adventure. Enjoy teamwork as you navigate the river and take in the serene surroundings.

• Price: $45 per canoe

Cooler Tube Rentals

• Description: Bring your snacks and drinks along for the ride! Our cooler tubes are the perfect companion to your river float. No glass bottles please!

• Price: $20 each

Personal Equipment Transport

Already have your own gear? No problem! We’ll transport your personal equipment to the drop-off location for just $15 per item.

• All float trips include transportation to the river access points.
